the Comic Con, selling toys from Japan. Cool, I thought. I mean, I like comics, toys and stuff… but I wouldn’t fly down to attend the show. Not the way I was back then, perhaps now… but hell no back then. So her plan was to meet with the friend and his family. They were neighbors before she moved to Canada…
Now fastforward to the show… I’m there wandering around and come to a sign: STEPHEN CHOW SIGNING. LINE STARTS HERE.
No way! So I go race back and steal my girlfriend away from the booth. The friend, his wife and daughter being big Stephen Chow fans were so excited, closed the booth temporarily LOL.

Well, needless to say, Mr. Chow was very gracious. I told him my name twice because of the noise, and after he signed we shook hands, and my girlfriend snapped the photo upon his permission. He looked exactly like he does in his movies, except he was smaller, and the silvery hair.
